Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the CareerGenius Affiliate Program! We're excited to partner with you. Please read these terms carefully. By participating in the program, you agree to these terms.

1. Commission Structure

  • You will earn a fixed commission for each new user who signs up for a paid CareerGenius subscription using your unique affiliate referral code/link.
  • Commission applies only to the referred user's *first* successful subscription payment. Recurring payments do not generate additional commissions.
  • Commissions are subject to a 14-day hold period from the date of the referred user's successful payment to account for potential refunds or chargebacks.

2. Payouts

  • Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect. You must successfully connect a Stripe account through the onboarding process provided in your Affiliate Dashboard to receive payouts.
  • A minimum accumulated commission balance of $20.00 USD is required to request a payout.
  • Payouts are typically processed [Specify Frequency - e.g., weekly, monthly - based on your decision]. Please allow several business days for funds to appear in your connected Stripe account after processing.
  • You are responsible for any taxes associated with the commissions earned.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your Stripe account information is accurate and up-to-date.

3. Promotion Guidelines

  • You may promote CareerGenius using your unique affiliate link on your website, blog, social media, or via email, provided it complies with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g., FTC disclosure guidelines).
  • You may not engage in spamming, unsolicited emails, or any deceptive advertising practices.
  • You may not misrepresent CareerGenius or its services.
  • You may not use your own affiliate link to sign up for services.

4. Termination

  • CareerGenius reserves the right to terminate your affiliate account at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to violations of these terms or suspected fraudulent activity.
  • If your account is terminated for violating these terms, any unpaid commissions may be forfeited.
  • You may terminate your participation in the program at any time by contacting us.

5. Modification

CareerGenius reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify affiliates of significant changes. Continued participation in the program after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
